  • cosplay

This year, my best friend and I are planning to go to Otakon (for those who don't know, it's an anima con.). Yes, we are going to Cosplay. We're hoping to be Death Note characters. Her as L and me as Mello. This would be our first con. and I really don't know how to find the best Mello costume at the best price. I thought about making my own then I did some math. Really, it's not much cheaper. This is hard! who know playing dress up would take so much money? I don't want to not sound serious, I am, but it's true. I don't think I'm far from the truth when I say most Cosplayers have been in my situation.

If you're wondering why Mello, here you go. Mello [next to L] is my favorite character. I'm kinda like him too. If i had to go into hiding, you'd find me by looking for a place with chocolate boxs all over the place. That and I was NOT going to be miss Misa-misa.

If any of you have any ideas, please tell me. I need all the help I could get.

  • 2008

Happy end of 2008! I can say that I kept none of my resalutions what so ever. Manily beacause I made a really hard one and I forgot about it in a week.

This year was a year of annoying for me.I annoyed every one I knew with "mindless transformers' speak". Now transformers is a new language. Who knew? Luckily for my friends, I am not quite fluent in this new form of communicating. =D I'll pity them when that day comes... Anywho, now starts the new semester and my Geom. teacher has changed. And then we'll 5 months and 25 days 'till TF2 comes out. Cut me some slack, I have not been counting down since I found out about the movie. I swear!

    Have a happy New Year!

  • A little something...

This is a Tf fanfic I wrote and was wondering if you guys could give me some feed back.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My life was so simple. Working at the Energon Plant with my best friend, Dion, going places with Dion, and more working, Dion and I did everything together. We’d known each other for years and years.

Dion was great. When I got the promotion to supervisor, he didn’t complain once. He remained the best transporter and organizer the plant had. The Boss really liked him more than he did me. Who could blame him, though? I wasn’t very outspoken or outgoing. I just did my work and kept my mouth shut and Dion was a polar opposite.

Also unlike me, Dion was popular with the Females. Much to my disappointment, he always had a girlfriend. He always made fun of me and my inability to attract a Female. But, hopefully, that would change.

The day I first saw her was all too normal. The morning started out the same. I pounded on Dion’s front door until he woke up, which did take a little longer than usual then we drove to work. I think I saw her at the front gate, but at that moment I was focused on just starting the day. Dion, who knew all of the Females working with and around us, looked back over his shoulder but kept on walking.

Dion and I where stacking Energon cubes when the Boss came in leading a young Female. I had looked up just to move my neck, then looked back down. My head snapped up again. Slowly, I leaned around Dion to look at her. Whoa, she was, wow! I couldn’t find words to describe her. Her pink armor plating gleamed in the light from outside. Her graceful head nodded occasionally as the Boss told her something. She was gripping her arm in her other hand in front of her. And some pretty hands they were. Her body was straight suggesting nerves. Honestly, I couldn’t blame her, the Boss was pretty scary.

Dion noticed I had stopped working and looked at me.

“Umm, Orion?” he asked. “These things aren’t going to stack themselves. What are you looking at?” I grabbed his head and wrenched it around.

“Ah, I see.” He said. We looked at each other.

“I wonder what her name is.” I said softly. She seemed to notice us staring. She glanced our way and blinked. Her optics where the brightest blue I’d ever seen. She shook her head and turned back to the Boss. “Dang.”

“I’d say she was way out of your league it that wasn’t true for me.” Dion said picking more Energon up.

“What?” I asked, shocked. “She’s out of yours, too?”

“Yep.” Dion said putting the Energon on the stack. “I know when I’m out classed.”

“Still,” I said. “I’d like to know what her name is.”

    twilght vs. harry potter

The major question going around is: which is better, Twilight or Harry Potter? In my mind, HP. Why? Because of plot, character, and the fact that's better written. In the first book of HP, JKR set herself up for a nice long series that goes over how Voldemort comes back and how Harry fights him. Twilight on the other hand, sets you up for an overly long story of how a Human falls for a vampier ( who sparkles. ?) Read anyother love story and you'll find that.

To quote my best friend, "Apperantly animal blood is just as good as human blood, SPARKLES IN THE LIGHT [What the HELL], And can be killed by being SHRED TO PEICES AND BURNING THE PEICES???? I have read BETTER FANFIC" Now, my friend is biased towards Hp but she brings up a good point. Meyer's writting skills mirror those of alot of fanfics I've read.

The characters in HP are comparible with people around you. My friend (same friend that was quoted) says I'm just like Hermione. I say she's just like Luna sometimes. Yet, I have never met a person who is like Bella or Edward. Definatly not Edward. Last I checked, people don't sparkle. Part of reading is to related to people. It's what makes it fun.

Twilght sets you up for dissapointment. At Target the other day, I saw a 10 year-old girl wearing a "team Edward" shirt. She will most likly become the crazy cat woman who walks up and down the shreet saying, "I'm still looking for Edward!" HP doesn't do that. It shows true teen relationships, full of jelousy, spite, and snogging. That's what teens do.

To top it all off, Meyer says she wrote, Twilight after she had a dream. JKR wrote HP1 on the train. I'll take the normal person writting on the train.

For those of you who don't like Twilight or like to make fun of it:

  • ahh, sweet spectulation...

I think the best thing about waiting for movies to come out is the spectulation. It's so much fun. The best part is when you go see it and then you can say to your friends "Ha I told you!" Personally, that's the best part of the whole process. With something like Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince, it's a little harder. What you end thinking about is what they're goning to cut out. Really, that's hard on you mentally, because you don't want them to cut out anything. But with other movies it's alot more fun and easier on your brain.
